Webinar: ENVIRON and Intertek REACH SVHC and RoHS2 testing requirements

Intertek, a provider of quality and safety services and ENVIRON, an international environmental consultancy and manager of the industry-led substances declarations web database www.BOMcheck.net, will be hosting a free webinar on the Registration, Evaluation, and Authorization of Chemical's (REACH) Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) and the expanded requirements of the draft new Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive, known as RoHS2.

The webinar - titled "Restricted and Declarable Substances: REACH, RoHS and Beyond" - will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2009 from 10.00am to 11.00am EDT.

"It will provide essential information on how companies can adopt cost-effective approaches to REACH and RoHS2 compliance, particularly following the release of a further draft REACH SVHC Candidate List and new risk assessment requirements for sample testing proposed under RoHS2.
