CSR is looking to introduce a range of low power integrated Bluetooth and GPS transceivers and is working with TSMC on validating its IP blocks for the foundry's 40nm low power RF process technology
TSMC is a long-time foundry partner for the Cambridge-based Bluetooth chip supplier.

TSMC’s 40nm LP RF process technology will be used to integrate multi radio devices for Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and FM radios.
"Our 40nm platform supports the high performance, low power, and high density RF products that will help CSR deliver next-generation experiences," said Mark Liu, v-p of advanced technology business at TSMC.
