Agilent is running a free EMT Open Day with workshops at its Winnersh site. It is aimed at Printed Circuit Board Test Engineers looking for In-Circuit or Functional solutions to improve throughput and test coverage.

"Learn how Agilent extend the coverage, speed and capability of the i3070 ICT platform to address today’s test challenges," says the company.

The event runs on 25 March 2010 (10:30 - 15:00).

Agenda:

    * Will share a technical session on functional test platform, to introduce a standardised system based approach and discuss platform concepts of ‘just enough test’, ‘high re-usability’ or project specific.
    * Concepts to reduce cost of FT test solutions (system + fixture + application)
    * Concepts for instrument interchangeability (instruments independency)
    * Demonstration of Functional Test System layer to enable UUT focused application development
    * Demonstration of Just Enough Test System with advanced debug and remote support capabilities

You can read more information on the Agilent website.
