ARM’s future plans for the Cortex-M series microcontrollers is the focus of a one day conference due to take place in May in Birmingham.
The conference entitled “ARM and the Future of Microcontrollers” will be held on the 19th of May at the Motorcycle Museum next to the NEC in Birmingham.
It is being organised by Hitex and ARM.
Topics include optimising low power applications, creating LCD GUI interfaces, developing safety-critical applications, a demonstration of the CMSIS coding standard, rapid prototyping and a look at the Cortex-R profile processor.
Hitex is also running a hands-on Cortex Microcontroller workshop on the 20th of May for new users who want a rapid introduction to the Cortex-M family.
