RF Micro Devices has updated its business expectations for the present quarter which ends on April 3.
The RF semiconductor supplier said it is seeing broad-based strength in its core business this quarter.
“Current customer demand significantly outpacing original expectations in both the cellular products group and multi-market products group,” said the company.
As a result it expects to Q4 revenue to be in the range of $240m to $245m, which would represent a 41% year-over-year growth at the midpoint of this updated outlook.
RFMD said it is seeing particular strength in China and Korea.
With the anticipated increase in revenue, RFMD expects to achieve non-GAAP quarterly earnings per share of approximately $0.11 to $0.12.
