Nanotechnology is a phrase that has been thrown around a lot in the past year in connection with almost everything. But what does it really mean?
The University of Surrey is hoping to answer this question with its five day Introduction to Nanotechnology course in Guildford on 19-23 November.
The course will cover the fundamentals of nanotechnology from a national and international perspective. It will include important nanomaterials and their applications and the tools for the characterisation of nanomaterials and nanotechnology.
This course is aimed at engineers and scientists who need an introduction or refresher on nanotechnology, with a particular emphasis on the applications of nanomaterials and technology.
Some grants are available to pay for attendees from UK companies.
