Antenova has announced that its eight-band antenna is in mass production in a notebook computer from a leading vendor.

The multi-band antenna, called DATANOVA, can cover a number of the CDMA/GSM, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Wimax, UWB and GPS bands in a single structure.

"Continuing to win projects from leading global companies such as HP, Dell and Siemens is a testament to Antenova’s engineering excellence and excellent customer service," said Greg McCray, CEO of Antenova.

"The flexibility of Antenova’s highly efficient eight-band antenna provides reliable Wimax, Wi-Fi and wireless WAN connectivity to support multiple mobile broadband network technologies and mobile operators, as well as the highly popular GPS connectivity for increasingly pervasive location applications,” said McCray.
