Microsoft, ARM, Direct Insight and Arrow are holding a free one-day briefing to introduce Windows Embedded Compact 7. It takes place at the Microsoft Thames Valley Park, near Reading, 10am Tuesday, March 29th.
Microsoft states, "Windows Embedded Compact 7 is designed provides access to leading-edge UI technologies and opens the door to the latest ARM processors. Real-time functionality, enhanced connectivity to the enterprise, integrated power management and user-friendly development tools provide accelerated and predictable time-to-market."
At the one-day session there will be a series of short presentations covering both technical and commercial aspects of Compact 7. Experts will be attending from a range of companies, including Microsoft, ARM, Direct Insight, UI Centric, Texas Instruments, Freescale and Captec.
