Imagination Technologies is targeting cloud computing with its latest hardware offering based on its silicon intellectual property.
Technology, dubbed Flow, which is already used in its PURE range of audio and digital radio products will be incorporated into a range of internet-based cloud computing products.
This will see the semiconductor IP and software behind the PURE range of consumer audio products applied to industrial and embedded computing applications.
According to Says Tony King-Smith, VP marketing, Imagination Technologies: The new products will be applicable for consumer, industrial and embedded applications.
“Having this solution available to the wider industry is certain to accelerate the growth of the overall internet-connected product market,” said Paul Smith, general manager at PURE, the digital radio business unit within Imagination Technologies.
