Rutronik has expanded its franchise agreement with Omron to cover Italy, Spain, Portugal, Benelux, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark.

Rutronik first carried the Omron line in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Europe.

The franchise was then expanded to France, the UK and Ireland.

"This new franchise expansion enables us to promote and distribute Omron relays, switches and connectors in all European countries," Jörg Ciper, marketing director for electromechanical components at Rutronik.

According to Alex Grout, European distribution manager Omron. "They will give customers local design-in support for Omron products backed up by extensive stockholding, and marketing expertise from Rutronik’s Headquarters."

This makes Omron Rutronik's key partner for connectors, switches and relays.
