Stantum Technologies, which develops multi-touch sensing technology, is introducing a development kit which enables OEMs to create their own multi-touch applications.
The new version of the SMK series, which features a 4.3-inch touch panel, will be formally announced next week at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Stantum is demonstrating it on a Texas Instruments OMAP35xx mobile platform.
The demo is based on a beta version of Touch Park, Stantum's new multi-touch framework. It simulates a mobile device user interface demonstrating Stantum's multi-touch performance in various types of applications, such as address book, drawing, picture resize, and gaming.
