German firm creates 300 manufacturing jobs in Scotland

Isola Werke UK, manufacturer and supplier of base materials to the printed circuit board industry, has opened a ?28m extension to its Cumbernauld factory.
The extension will double the plant's capacity and lead to 300 jobs in the next few years, doubling the size of the current workforce. "The Scottish plant has a key role to play within Silicon
Glen providing high quality, bespoke products to the electronics industry," said Michael Kowalski, managing director of German parent company Isola.
