K9 sharpens teeth for IC Works
Richard Ball Marlborough-based K9 Technology has been signed as the sole UK representative for IC Works, a Silicon Valley semiconductor company. "We're all delighted with this deal," said Steve Tomlinson, K9's managing director. IC Works designs and manufactures clock synthesiser ICs for PC motherboards and a range of RF phase locked loop chips. Its class one cleanroom manufactures CMOS and BiCMOS
at 0.7?m. This was acquired as part of a management buy-out from Samsung Semiconductor in 1992.
