Cree has introduced warm white and neutral white versions of its XP-G lighting LED.
In warm (3000K) white, they provides up to 114 lm and 109 lm/W at 350mA.
At 1.0 A, output climbs to 285 lm and efficacy drops to 84 lm/W "which is four times the light output than the highest available XR-E warm-white LED at equal efficacy," said Cree.
The neutral (4000K) white version delivers up to 139 lm and 132 lm/W at 350mA, and up to 463 lm at 1.5 A.
"These LEDs can enable LED lighting products that exceed the current ENERGY STAR luminaire and lamp requirements," said Paul Thieken, Cree director of marketing.
Neutral-white and warm-white XP-G LEDs are commercially available now.
