Raytheon to recruit 100
Alex Mayhew-Smith Raytheon Systems, the US firm employing 2,000
people in the UK, is looking for 100 staff to work at its sites in
Harlow and Glenrothes, Scotland. The company expects to have to
recruit certain engineers from other areas of Europe due to a
skills shortage in the UK. Seventy engineering jobs will be at the
company's Harlow site. The site manufactures radar systems and
Raytheon is currently making a military electronic identification
system to determine if vehicles and aircraft are friendly or not.
