A free automotive seminar with the title 'Building The Perfect
Beast' is planned for mid November in Cambridge.
Organised by Energi Technical, the seminar will comprise a
series of presentations on the technical innovations that drive the
embedded automotive industry.
Topics will include using DSP for noise and echo cancellation,
cache anlysis to improve software performance, and the use of
real-time operating systems.
"We organised two Embedded Automotive seminars last year and
they were a great success," said Richard Blackburn of Energi
Technical. "We try to ensure that each presentation is informative
and useful to engineers, so that delegates feel it's been a
productive use of their time. We also strive to make sure that the
day is technology driven, with engineers having the chance to meet
with key industry vendors in a non-sales environment."
A number of companies specialising in embedded technologies will
be at the event for informal meetings. They include Arcom, Artisan
Software, Enea Embedded Technology, Freescale, iSystems, iLogix,
IPL, LDRA, Lauterbach, Mathworks, NCT, Plextek, Polyhedra and
Software Acumen.
"For us, these seminars prove to be an excellent forum to meet
with engineers to discuss their new projects and for us to explain
our latest products," said Enea's Joel White.
