Electronics Weekly is taking votes for its Product Innovation of the Year - Readers' Choice as part of this year's Elektra Awards.

Everyone who votes via email will be entered for a prize draw and the chance to win 2 VIP tickets to the Elektra Awards and £100 of shopping vouchers.

The Readers' Choice Award, which is sponsored by International Rectifier, gives readers to opportunity to make their choice from a shortlist of five innovative products.

1. Alpine Electronics Blackbird (PMD-B100P) portable navigation with a built-in radio data system (RDS) TMC tuner for receiving traffic information. 
2. Cochlear's Nucleus Freedom speech processor for hearing aid implants.  
3. LG's Super Multi Blue, an internal drive that can burn Blu-ray discs and play both Blu-ray and HD DVD discs. 
4. Nintendo's Wii games console.
5. Philips VOIP841 Internet phone for both Skype and landline calls.
