Typically, responsibilities of the electronics technician may include the following:

• Find faults and rectify electrical systems breakdown
• Assemble, test and certify new systems when required in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
• Apply principles and theories of electronics

Electronics Technician Qualifications/Experience

As with most Engineering positions, a nationally recognised apprenticeship qualification or qualification in electronic engineering is essential.
