|NewsletterDigi International has acquired Sarian Systems, a privately held UK-based wireless router manufacturer. The cash deal is valued at around $30.5m.

Its routers are used in ATMs, retail payment systems, lottery terminals and telemetry systems. Sarian’s customers include American Express, Travelex and BP Oil.

Digi expects Sarian to contribute in excess of $2.5m in sales revenues for the third fiscal quarter of 2008, from date of acquisition, and in a range of approximately $3.5m- $5.5m in revenues for the fourth fiscal quarter of 2008.
