|NewsletterPCB Design Service company Routability and Total Board Solutions (TBS) has developed a training course specifically for PCB design contractors.
Routability is a four-year-old company which provides circuit board design services.
Until now Routability and TBS have trained contractors in order to fulfill their own company needs. But the design firm has also been asked to provide trained contractors for other companies.
“We have coped with demand to this point,” said Ben Dowding director of Routability. “But we have already been asked by other service providers, on more than one occasion, if we could supply contractors to them.”
According to Sue Critcher from TBS, while getting to grips with the basics of any EDA software is easy, using it efficiently to meet the requirements of customers requires training and experience.
“Based on the latest EE2007.1 Expedition PCB flow, we have developed a three-day training course for contractors. Irrespective of which EDA tool they currently use, this course will widen their skill base and help future-proof their outlook - contractors will find it invaluable,” said Critcher.
Dates for the courses will be announced once interest is registered.
