|NewsletterBrushless DC motors versus brush DC motors is the discussion point of motor control seminars being held by Rutronik in September.
The one-day seminars being run in partnership with manufacturers Microchip and Vishay are due to take place on 2 September in Bolton and 3 September in Winnersh, Berkshire.
The seminar will examine the switchover from brush motors to the brushless variant, which is far less complex than one might suspect. The advantages of brushless DC motors are obvious: although DC motors can be easier to control, brushless motors can be operated more quietly and efficiently and do not wear out.
The registration fee is £20.
