Avnet Memec has extended its distribution partnership with 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3-based microcontroller supplier Luminary Micro to include Germany, Italy, France, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Switzerland as well as the UK.

The distributor has been carrying the 32-bit microcontroller line from Luminary Micro since last October.
 
Its success with Cortex-M3 has made Luminary Micro one of the most important suppliers of 32-bit microcontrollers. 

“Luminary Micro is a great addition to the linecard, offering the world’s largest selection of ARM-based microcontrollers, allowing for standardization that eliminates future architectural upgrades or software tools changes,” said Steve Haynes, president Avnet Memec.
