Celoxica accelerates PCI Express for NASDAQ and NYSE

Monday 03 November 2008 12:00

Celoxica said it is shipping hardware accelerators for the data server market on the Intel PCI Express platform.

Abingdon-based Celoxica has been collaborating with Intel on the Accelerator for PCI Express which is available with data feeds for OPRA, ISE, NASDAQ ITCH, CME, ICE, NYSE and NYSE ARCA markets.

According to Celoxica, the accelerator has proven latency of less than 10µs, processing market data from ISE, OPRA and ITCH at over three million messages per second.

“We are committed to enabling ultra-low latency trading and market data solutions through hardware acceleration and will continue to ensure that our line handler solutions are at the forefront in terms of speed, consistency and reliability,” said Lee Staines, CEO of Celoxica.

A further seven feeds, including European markets, will be available in Q1 2009.
