Emerson Network Power has added to its range of RF connectors with a family of Johnson SMP Blind-Mate Connectors which can handle frequencies up to 40GHz and is compatible with all SMP and GPO Connectors.

The precision connection interface is a micro-miniature, slide-on/snap-on interconnect system that is suitable for high density packaging.

The design of the SMP bullet and shroud system allows for both axial and radial misalignment.

Several new connectors have been added to the range of Johnson non-magnetic RF coaxial connectors and cable assemblies. The non-magnetic MMCX micro-miniature connector features a positive snap-on cou¬pling design to which facilitates high mating cycles and ensures rugged, high density connectivity.

Emerson has also demonstrated concentric and field serviceable Trompeter Twin and Triax Connectors including the miniature-sized 70 series of TRB/TRT connectors, which provide different levels of mechanical stability and keying, and are available in bayonet and threaded versions.

Full, extensive editorial coverage will be provided on Electronics Weekly, in a special Electronica section. Interviews, latest releases, details of the show, such as floorplans, exposition of latest technologies... Simply bookmark: www.electronicsweekly.com/electronica2008
