Gennum will use Embedded World 2009 to demonstrate its latest
PCI Express (PCIe) and transmit and receive designs.
PCIe designs will include the supplier’s first four-lane
PCIe-to-local bus bridge chip (GN4124) and the quad multi-rate
repeater/re-timer (GN1406), aimed at embedded PCIe
applications.
Gennum will
also show its single-chip transmit and receive solutions that
support 3Gbit/s, as well as high definition and standard definition
for serial digital interface (SDI) applications.
The transmitter and receiver designs offer serialiser/deserialiser
(serdes) capabilities, along with integrated cable driver, voltage
controlled oscillator (VCO), and full video and audio support.
