Eurotech is the latest board maker to launch a rugged PC/104 Plus board based on the Intel Atom processor Z5xx series platform.
“Moving our expertise with the Intel Atom processor platform to the PC/104 Plus platform brings higher processing capabilities and power improvements to the many companies committed to PC/104 design,” said Giampietro Tecchiolli, CTO of Eurotech. 
Intel has designed the Atom processor Z5xx platform for fanless embedded systems working in industrial temperature ranges.
The ISIS XL board will be available in the second quarter of 2009.
