ARM will be presenting the secrets of the design culture behind
its low power processor cores at Electronics Weekly Live
Design Conference in London next week.
ARM will be one of a number of specialists in power efficient
design speaking at the Electronics Weekly Live Design
Conference which is taking place at
National Electronics Week in Earls Court 2,
London on Wednesday June 17th
“Every Joule of energy is sacred today,” said Peter Hutton, v-p
technology and systems at ARM.
In a presentation at next week’s conference, Hutton will outline
how low power design pervades the entire engineering culture at
ARM.
“The fluctuating cost of energy and environmental concerns
create a trade-off between high-performance and power efficiency
for embedded developers,” said Hutton.

Conference.
A range of global companies will present papers on power
efficient design, embedded processor system design and wireless
system design at this conference which is free to visitors at the
exhibition. The conference is intended to provide technical
insights for an audience of designers working in market sectors
such as wireless, security, transportation, medical and
defence.
