Agilent Technologies has signed a supply agreement with rental firm Livingston to service the RF, microwave, aerospace and defence markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
“With Livingston being an established major presence in the European and global markets, Agilent felt that there was significant value in working together. This is a positive move forward for both companies to increase their market share and provide further benefits to customers,” said Livingston’s CEO, Mel Porter.
Livingston is targeting the European defence and aerospace markets and has recently recruited Luc Vandessel to support the programme.
"In collaboration with Agilent, we are increasing our emphasis and focus on a larger share of the worldwide market,” said Porter.
In addition to offering Agilent test equipment, the rental firm will offer an increased range of financial options, to address the current economic climate.
