More than a dozen electronics firms were recognised for their technology and export success in the areas of acousto-optics, laser diodes and audio ICs in last week’s Queen's Awards.
Queen's Awards for innovation and international trade success are the highest accolade for UK-based businesses.
Firms recognised for their technical innovation were low-light sensor developer e2v Technologies Imaging Sensors Group, audio chip supplier Wolfson Microelectronics, Smiths Aerospace for its aircraft electronics systems and AD Holdings for its CCTV system.
Recognised for international business success were: Dage Precision, FT Technologies, IDTechFX, Orange Music, Photonic Products, RFI Global, Gooch & Housego, Spectrum Technologies and Thermacore.
