Telent has won a three year comms infrastructure support contract with Colt.
Telent will supply field engineers to Colt to plan, install, support and maintain comms networks on a variety of platforms including IP, Ethernet and SDH.
Telent’s network support centre will also play a central role in handling calls and despatching engineers across the country.
Mark Plato, CEO at Telent, said: “This contract win is a significant achievement for Telent and is testament to our ability to provide complete network lifecycle support.”
Last week Telent’s share price rose to pass 500p with encouraging news on sales revenues and an announcement that the firm will pay an interim dividend. Telent spun out of Maroni when the firm was sold to Ericsson.
