Xmos has announced design-ins for its embedded processors with Native Instruments, a manufacturer of software and hardware for computer-based music production and DJing.
Bristol-based Xmos has a USB Audio 2.0 reference design and its processors will be used for audio streaming in the firm's range of USB Audio Class 2.0 compliant products.
A feature of the Xmos offering is a unified development platform which it claims simplifies integration into existing workflow.
“We are amazed by how rapidly our engineers have learnt to use Xmos devices, and the speed with which they are able to design new products,” said Mate Galic, chief technology officer and president, Native Instruments.
Native Instruments employs around 270 people in its two offices in Berlin and Los Angeles.
