Rutronik Elektronische has added the Murata active and passive component lines to its offering of Murata Power Solutions throughout Europe.

The two companies have been working together in central Europe, France, Denmark and Eastern Europe.

“We are delighted to announce that we now represent one of our most important partners in the passive sector as well as a technology and market leader in high cap MLCCs, resonators and inductors across Europe,” said Markus Zühlke, marketing director passive components at Rutronik.

“We are confident that this step will enable us to achieve disproportionate growth, thereby further increasing our strong market share in passive components,” said  Zühlke.

A strengthening of design-in activities will also support the distribution of products manufactured by Murata Power Solutions.

"This expanded franchise means that, in the future, Murata will play a key role in both Rutronik’s passive and semiconductor divisions," said Thomas Ulinski, marketing director semiconductors at Rutronik.

According to Thomas Altmann, distribution manager at Murata Elektronik: “This means that Rutronik has exactly the right kind of technical expertise required to acquire important design especially in the industrial sector."
