Premier Farnell has entered into an agreement to distribute ARM development tools, software, evaluation boards and debug hardware in American markets.
The company's Newark element14 distributor in the US will add ARM products to its portfolio available in the region.
“This announcement continues to demonstrate our commitment to the design engineering community," said David Shen, chief technology officer at Premier Farnell.

As part of the distributor's plan to support ARM-based embedded system design its technical support engineers will receive training on ARM system design tools to provide first line support for customers when product sales launch in early 2012.
