As part of a plan to expand business in the military and defence electronics market, FPGA firm Altera has chosen Firefly Technology to representative it in the UK and Ireland.
“Growing our presence in the military and defence market is a strategic objective for us,” said Alistair Sands, regional sales manager for UK and Ireland.
According to Tony James, managing director of Hampshire-based Firefly Technology: “Altera has established successful direct relationships with Tier 1 defence players in Europe."
"Our role is to widen and deepen that reach into the defence electronics market within the UK,” said James.
