Switch manufacturer Knitter-Switch has signed a franchised
distribution agreement with Arrow Northern Europe to cover Denmark,
Finland, Norway, Sweden and the Baltic States. The agreement
extends the companies' existing relationship in the UK and supports
Knitter-Switch's strategy to grow sales of its professional and
low-cost switch families throughout the Nordic region.
"We see significant potential for our products in the Nordic
countries. Extending our agreement with Arrow to cover Denmark,
Finland, Norway, Sweden, and the Baltic States, supports our
objectives by providing a proven and technically capable
channel-to-market in the region," said Terry Moss, general manager
for Knitter-Switch UK. Moss is pictured (left) with Allan Woodhams,

The firms signed their UK and Republic of Ireland agreement in
1998. "The new agreement allows us to repeat this success in the
Nordic region and to target customers and sectors that, to date, we
have not been able to cover with existing product lines," said
Chris McAneny, northern European marketing director for Arrow.
Arrow will now have access to the full Knitter-Switch range,
including DIL switches, toggle switches, pushbuttons, slide
switches, TACT switches and both rotary and rotary coded products,
throughout northern Europe.
