Harriet Green has been appointed as chief executive of stock market listed UK distributor Premier Farnell.
She will start at the firm from April 3. Since 1994 she as been at NYSE listed firm Arrow Electronics and before that at Macro Group as managing director.

Andrew Fisher, group finance director, has tendered his resignation prior to his appointment as finance director of Provident Financial. A search process is underway to appoint his successor.
