Former Vodafone executive David Newland has joined ProVision Communications, the Bristol-based digital video IP firm, which is lining up a move into the wireless systems market.
Newland, a former Vodafone group financial controller and managing director for its UK Paging division, is joining ProVision as chief financial officer.
According to ProVision’s CEO, Steve Cliffe, this is an important appointment for the Company.
“He is part of a strategic move that enables ProVision to launch into the wireless video market,” said Cliffe.
“I’m delighted to be joining at this critical time,” said Newland.
ProVision licenses its video IP which is integrated in set-top boxes and TVs.
