SiliconBlue gets Magme design environment

Low power FPGA firm SiliconBlue Technologies has tied up with Magma Design Automation to create a design environment for SiliconBlue's 65nm product line.

Under the agreement, Magma's timing-driven physical synthesis and placement technology has been tailored for SiliconBlue's iCE65 architecture and integrated into its iCEcube tool flow.

The tools support standard constraint formats and provide coverage of Verilog and VHDL, and take into account SiliconBlue's non-volatile configuration memory.
