EBV Elektronik has signed the DRAM and flash memory lines of Micron Technology in Europe.
This means EBV will sell Micron’s DRAM, NAND and NOR flash memories in the UK, Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Ireland, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia and Switzerland.
Michele Carrieri, sales director for Europe at Micron Technology, signalled a significant push by the memory firm into the European market.
“Thanks to EBV Elektronik’s large customer portfolio and distributed sales organisation, they will play a fundamental role in promoting and selling Micron memory solutions in key European countries,” said Carrieri.
"The addition of Micron's diversified DRAM product portfolio, including memories with extended temperature ranges, fits extremely well with our linecard,” said Klaus Schlund, director, technical marketing at EBV Elektronik.
