White LED from Lamina Ceramics emits 600lumens

Wednesday 31 May 2006 10:01

Lamina Ceramics claims its Titan range features the only 3,000K, 25W warm white LED light engine available on the market (pictured below).

There are also RGB and ‘daylight white’ models.

“Our Titan warm white boasts an output of over 600 lumens in roughly two square inches,” said David McConaghy, Lamina’s v-p of sales.

“This is the first warm white product on the market equivalent to 50W PAR-30 wide-angle halogen floodlight, while consuming much less power,” he said.

The daylight (4,700K) model produces 1,200 lumens with a 60° beam. The RGB hits 800 lumens and can produce 16 million colours.
