Our client is an emerging leader in the arena of multi-million gate ICs for multimedia applications. With an emphasis on Video / graphics chips, their development team develops some of the largest and most complex digital ICs / SoC devices available in the market.

Linux Driver developer sought to join their dynamic team developing Linux driver software for next generation video Chips & Hardware. The role will involve leading the development of Linux based drivers, helping design and implementation of video drivers and O/S abstraction software on numerous platforms.

Candidates will have:

- Experienced working on Linux kernel/drivers

- C programming experience

- Good knowledge of system architectures and embedded real-time operating systems

- Operating systems experience: WinCE, Symbian

- Understanding of at least one video compression standards: MPEG-2, MPEG-4, MPEG4-AVC, WMV9, VC-1, AVS and Real

- Linux, Windows, WinCE, Symbian
