The opportunity has arisen for a Test Engineer to work for a Manufacturer based in Dorset.
The successful Test Engineer prime responsibilities will be; operating complex test, training test operatives, instigating any corrective actions, fault finding to component level of ICT and functional test fails, fault finding to component level and generating analysis reports and operating complex tests. In addition to this you will be involved in; PCBA Fault Finding, diagnose of ICT fails, diagnose most faults with analogue and digital assemblies, spot test setup issues causing false fails, understand circuit diagrams at least at block level, liaise with customers on complex faults and use the following instruments and equipment: DMM (all functions), PSU, oscilloscope, shorts locator, LCR meter, x-ray machine.
The ideal candidate will be HNC/HND qualified or a equivalent in an electronics related subject or ability to demonstrate a knowledge of this level if gained from experience.
