R&D Image Processing Engineer

Our client is an ambitious and quickly growing company that aims to revolutionise the look and feel of images: to make pictures look more like the world we see. Our client develops image processing algorithms for digital cameras, mobile phones and display devices.

They have an opening for a Research and Development Engineer. They are seeking candidates with experience in Matlab and C programming and who have a proven track record of developing algorithms in the image/signal processing area. They are particularly interested in applicants with experience in specific aspects of camera processing including demosaicing, denoising, colour correction and image rendering.

Candidates with an interest in photography and/or colour management are strongly encouraged to apply. Our clients R&D engineers are also expected to have some experience in lab-based work: an understanding of device-calibration and/or experience with image evaluation techniques is desirable. Candidates will be expected to carry out independent R&D projects but must also be able to work as part of a team.
