Senior Analog IC Design Engineer - Sth France Automotive

Semiconductor company developing 'Smartpower IC' solutions for various Analog (analogue) /Mixed Signal and power applications, Transistor level Analog IC design, Translating specs into electrical schematics, Cadence tools as well as tools such as Matlab.

Our client is a successful international designer of Analog ICs for automotive, consumer and industrial applications.

They currently seek an Analog IC Designer for their site in the South of France.

Working within a team responsible for developing 'Smartpower IC' solutions for various Analog/Mixed Signal and power applications you will be tasked with;

-Transistor level Analog IC design
-Translating specs into electrical schematics using existing components (MOS, bipolar, resistors, capacitors)
-Working closely with customers to found the best compromise of conception along the project from the definition of the spec to the presentation of technical solutions to the customer
-Layout validation of circuits
-Measuring the performance of prototype and support it during the qualification phases
-Redesign until the product fits the application.

Industry degree qualified or equivalent you will have established experience in Analog IC Design using Cadence tools as well as tools such as Matlab. Good communication in English is essential and knowledge of the French language is a definite advantage. Initiative and the ability to work well in a team is also important.
