Hugely successful France-based semiconductor company seeks a Senior Digital ASIC Design Engineer to take charge of product development from specification to prototype approval. Suitable skills include: digital, IC, SoC, ASIC, FPGA, microprocessor, microcontroller, ARM, ARM11, ARM9, RTL, verification, synthesis, VHDL, Verilog, DFT, STA, physical design, system verification, video, imaging, MPEG, semiconductor.

Our client is a world-class developer of advanced semiconductors for a whole host of electronic equipment markets, including consumer, communications, medical, automotive and aerospace.

Based in Southern France, they now seek a Senior Digital IC Design Engineer to take charge of the development of their new generation of high end products (ARM11) from specification to prototype approval. You will participate in the definition of new architecture, product specification, and production support.

Requirements:
Candidates must be degree qualified in Microelectronic Engineering (or similar) and have several years experience in digital ASIC/SoC design. We are looking for someone with experience in microcontroller architecture, ideally with experience in the whole ASIC design flow (RTL, synthesis, DFT, STA...) A background working on video/imaging products would be particularly beneficial, but not essential
