Usability Analyst - Germany

Ideal profile: Usability analysis, interface design experience, interaction research, user experience knowledge

Global electronics trend-setter is seeking to leverage its successful market position and cutting-edge technology and create a whole new Usability Team. They require a first-rate Usability Analyst to form a key part of this new team.

Profile:

- Design and review interaction flows for hand-held device projects
- Develop, organise and conduct usability and benchmarking tests (in-house and agency lead)
- Analyse existing user interfaces and be able to produce usability reports
- Consult the HQ UI team on future UI trends and be able to provide insight and rationale for UI decision making
- Develop and administer multi-variant databases
- Pro-actively co-ordinate usability feedback from our international offices and drive resolution
- Work in cross-functional teams with User Interface-, Design- and Marketing functions in international locations
- Work with engineers to implement designs into technology frameworks.

Qualifications & requirements:

- Demonstrates attention to detail and balances beauty, innovation and usability.
- Requires strong and flexible skills in usability & human factors, and awareness of hand-held technologies.
- Strong skills in creating and analysing usability tests as well as formulating the results
- Substantial understanding of user interface issues and information architecture is important.
- Strong skills in intercultural working
- Fluent English (written, spoken)
- Strong skills required for MS Office.
