Skilled GUI Developer immediately required by leading technology focussed company in Gloucestershire to
design and implement Windows-based GUIs for the control of equipment/products produced for defence sector. Responsibilities will include design, development and implementation of new Windows GUI software, primarily for equipment control purposes, using Visual C++, translate basic top-level specifications and functional descriptions into intuitive, user-friendly, easy-to-use interfaces. Liaison with hardware developers and other team members to agree hardware/GUI interactions.
Suitable applicants will ideally have a relevant degree, have proven experience of GUI development using Visual C++/MFC/SQL/VB/TCP/IP, Experience of designing and implementing custom controls and elements to add specialised display features to the GUIs. Customer focussed and good communication skills are essential. Fabulous opportunity with a growing company. Applicants for this position should be holders of British Passports.
