Software Tools Development Engineer is required by this Cambridge based semiconductor company. The role will be to develop PC-based design tools that customers can use to take design parameters and then simulate and model to deliver predicted performance characteristics (in numerical and chart formats) and full required bill of materials.
You should be degree qualified in a relevant topic and have professional experience covering the following:
* Development of GUI-driven applications for Windows/PC and web platforms using an object-oriented (OOD/OOP) approach
* Electronic circuit behavioural modelling and simulation
* CAD tool development
* Use of several implementation languages (eg. Java, Visual C++ or C#, Visual Basic, Python, Excel, MATLAB, etc)
