At the junction of East Harmony Road and Ziegler Road in Fort Collins (Colorado) you'll find HP, Intel, AMD, and Avago. Not far away are LSI and Broadcom. In fact, there are more than 2,000 silicon types within a stone's throw. Located adjacent to this intersection is Austin's American Grille. Perhaps, the location is the best part of this resturant/bar. Local beers in a good bar for small group conversations. Fort Collins is a college town: home of Colorado State University and, thus, a lot of micro breweries. No shortage of good drinks here. Fort Collins is also the northern anchor of a 38 mile corridor of ICT expertise that extends to Boulder and the University of Colorado. The number of silicon-types working here more than doubles when the entire corridor is included.
Excellent. Thank you Bruce - we'll be putting that one up shortly

Small pub with 4 real handpulls, notably Ringwood's Old Thumper
Very cosy pub amid all the glitz of Orlando
I'd like to kick off the Irish section by recommending a lovely seaside pub in Baltimore, West Cork called Bushe's Bar. It's a cozy, family run pub full of interesting maritime artefacts. I don't have the exact address, but you can't miss it as it's the only proper pub on the waterfront. It's the perfect place to pass a leisurely afternoon chatting with locals and puzzling over the crossword.
I only drink Guiness in Ireland, but you can also find other good local brews. Remember that a half pint is called a glass in Ireland, not that you'll probably order one!

Good atmosphere, with superb real ale and cider. Ideal for Xilinx and Altera FAEs, bewildered in the midst of those dark satanic mills in Yorkshire.
Hi David
If you are in Boston, MA look out for Rapscallion Honey (http://drinkrapscallion.com/honey.html), a very smooth and drinkable pint from a local brewery. I got mine in the bar of "aloft" in Lexington, MA.
Thanks Noel, much obliged
Bangalore, India. Coconut Grove. Very nice. Beer very cheap. Check out http://www.pintprice.com/region.php?/Vatican_City/GBP.htm for world pint prices.

I really enjoyed it. It is delicious!
Here is a great place to get your football fix - they cover all the major Premiership games and will stay open past 3am if need be!
Beer is standard fair both continental and local beers. What makes this place though is the staff. They are very friendly so if you find yourself bored or alone on business in Taipei head here, sit at the bar and play cards with bar staff, or talk Football with Roxana (but I warn you she is a fanatic Chelsea fan)
Address: No. 114- 116, Anho Road, Section 2, Taipei, Taiwan
Blink and you will miss it ! Delaney's in Kowloon is a great haven for all ex-pats looking for a more traditional night out in Hong Kong but with the entrance only a small door heading down into the dungeons you can easily walk right past it. With Guinness, Kilkenny, Tetley and Strongbow all on-tap, its the place to go for a plate of McDonaghs fish and chips or spicy chicken drumsticks while catching up on the Premiership, rugby, cricket or F1 motor racing. Good atmosphere and reasonably priced with pleasant bar staff.
