Food is mostly authentic German fare, like sausages and sauerkraut, with waitrons donning traditional lederhosen and dirndl dresses. Feast inside on one of the banquet-sized tables, where large copper kettles tower up towards the rafters and pretzels dangle from the ceiling, or enjoy your meal under the stars in the beer garden.  Mitchell's produces four beers: Forester's Draught Lager, Bosun's Bitter, Ravenstout, and Ferrymans Ale. (Forester's Draught Lager, regarded as a "healthful" beer, contains no preservatives and is said to have  a fairly light taste.)
